Phew. The LONG wait is over! We finally got to see our peanut today and learn that we're going to have another GIRL! Woo hoo!
The best part of the news, though, is that she looks completely healthy. That's such a relief. During the ultrasound, the sonographer couldn't get over how much she was moving around! She kept having to take shots "on the fly" and hope she got what she needed. It was fun to watch! Since we had our 20 week u/s with Maddy they've gotten a new machine. The sonographer said they call it their "Cadillac" because it's so much better. It was amazing to see our baby girl moving all around. I'll attach some of the cooler pictures.
In less good news, however, at the moment this little peanut is breech, just like her sister was. I'm hoping she'll move (the Dr. said they don't worry about it until 30 weeks), but I'm not counting on it. I'm trying to get my Dr. to refer me to a chiropractor that specializes in the Webster technique (read about it here), but thus far nothing has worked out. If I can't get him to refer me, I'll either switch primary doctors, or pay out of pocket (which would piss me off, since I have great insurance that "covers" chiropractic care). Meh. Nobody ever said kids were easy! ;-)
Joe whispered in Maddy's ear what we're having, and when my parents asked her, she said, "A brother!" LOL, Joe and I quickly corrected her. She did the same thing when we asked her to tell Joe's family. Apparently it hasn't sunk in yet!
I guess we'd better get started on picking out a girl name! On that note, I think I'll go flip through the baby name book!
