It's been a while since I've had time to post! Life has been crazy. Not in a bad way, just in a crazy way! =)
M started gymnastics last week. She was signed up for the Mom & Tot class @ the Y (for 1-4 year olds), on Tuesday nights. I left work 1/2 hour early to get there on time, only to find out they had canceled the class without telling us! To say I was mad is an understatement! One look at my face and the woman working slipped us a free pass to the kids' gym. M enjoyed playing in there! They switched her to a Wednesday night class, which I later found out is actually for 3-5 year olds. It worked out ok, because on the first night there were only 4 girls, a 4 year old, a 3 year old, M, and another (younger) 2 year old. She had a BLAST! We were very proud of her. She did a great job following directions and waiting in line. Her 2nd week was also fun. There was only 1 other girl there this week, so M got a lot of exercise!
Last Saturday was her first basketball class. I missed it (I was in Las Vegas- but that'll be a whole post on its own!), but I heard all about it! It was another small class, which is good. She learned how to dribble, and got to shoot the ball. She had SO MUCH FUN, and she's been wanting to go back everyday since! Tomorrow will be basketball again, she can't wait!
I had my 24 week appointment on Wednesday. Everything looks great! My blood pressure was good (100/70, its always on the low side), no swelling (yet!), and the peanut had a good, strong heartbeat. It took the nurse between 5-10 minutes to find her heartbeat because she was moving like crazy. We weren't worried about it, because you could see her rolling around my belly away from the wand. She's gonna be stubborn like her mommy!
I have to do my glucose test and get another rhogam shot (http://web-01.pregnancy.org/article/rh-incompatibility-and-why-you-need-rhogam) before my next appointment. Blah. :o)
Joe is playing softball on Monday and Tuesday nights. We haven't made it out to a game yet, but we will! I can't wait to spend some time outside this summer.
We filled out all of the paperwork last night for the basement waterproofing. If we can get the interest rate we want, they'll hopefully have that done in the next month or so. Its shaping up to be a busy summer already!
